Intel-GE Care Innovations Hackathon to Tackle Biggest Patient Engagement Hurdles

Intel-GE Care Innovations, in partnership with MIT Hacking Medicine and StartX, will host its first ever “hackathon” in an effort to bridge the divide between patients, their health and their healthcare providers. Held at Stanford University on September 19-21, the event features health innovation experts Dr. Jacob Reider, Deputy National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, and Dr. Lyle Berkowitz, Associate Chief Medical Officer of Innovation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, experienced in innovative and disruptive uses of information technology.
