AgeTech West Releases White Papers on WiFi and Safety & Wellness Systems

In response to senior living and long-term care providers’ desire for practical, unbiased guidance on technology deployments, AgeTech West established a provider-led “Technology Enabled Care Standards (TECS)” workgroup to develop guidelines on common technology challenges. As the workgroup’s first products, the White Papers aim to help decision-makers and information technology professionals develop effective WiFi infrastructures and navigate the evolving array of safety and wellness systems by sharing general considerations for design and implementation in senior living and long-term care communities. They also lays a foundation for future development of technical best-practice standards. AgeTech thanks the TECS workgroup members and gives special thanks to Joe Gerardi, SVP and CIO at ABHOW, for his leadership as chair of the workgroup.
