An invaluable opportunity for innovative companies

If you’re a technology company focused on aging / long-term care, securing a pilot is often a critical step in your development but finding the a host organization can be a difficult and lengthy process. The Aging2.0 / AgeTech West Pitch for Pilots (P4P) event was designed to streamline this process and help accelerate innovation in our space.

The 2nd annual Pitch for Pilots session will take place at the AgeTech West Conference in Seattle, WA Nov 17-18, 2014 and will enable the next batch of 8-10 promising companies to pitch in front of hundreds of long-term care providers. Following the success of last year’s inaugural P4P, this year we expect even more interest from technology companies and industry partners. P4P is part of the opening session of the AgeTech West annual Conference and will involve innovative companies, both startups and more established firms, pitching their pilot proposals to a room full (200+) of representatives of long-term care providers from across the care continuum.

Attendees will vote in real-time on the quality of the pitch as well as their interest in doing a pilot with the company. Awards will be given at the closing session and pilot pairs will be matched and announced soon after the Conference. After pitching, each startup will also have the opportunity to exhibit and network for the remainder of the conference.

Pilot info: 4-6 weeks in a mutually agreed time in Q1 2015. There will be at least 10 pilot users; maybe more if mutually agreed upon. Tech company to provide hardware / software for free to the pilot organization and the users. Note: Even though the matched pilot needs to be at no charge to the host organization, each team will get a list of all the organizations who expressed interest in piloting their product.
