Registration for AgeTech West’s 2014 conference, “Sync in Seattle: Transforming the Aging Services Experience,” Nov. 17-18 in downtown Seattle opens on Monday, August 18. This year’s conference will build on the tangible outcomes of 2013’s San Jose conference by highlighting successful case studies of projects coming out of the “Pitch-for-Pilots (P4P)” such as Eskaton and Live!y and PEP Housing among others. We will hear the experiences of not only care providers and technology companies, but also those of participating older adults. Following these highlights, we will conduct a new round of Pitch-for-Pilots opportunities featuring 8-10 companies with real-time voting by Holleran and opportunity for providers in attendance to apply to be a pilot host partner.
The conference will also feature keynotes and panel discussions by Microsoft, Panasonic, Google, Intel-GE Care Innovations, and A Place for Mom to name a few, as well as over a dozen break-out presentations. More than 30 technology companies are expected to exhibit, and we’ll have ample networking time and Xbox One “exergaming” competitions and giveaways to add some fun. A limited number of rooms at the Hyatt Olive 8 are available at a conference rate of $149/night. Because the conference rate is offered two days before or after the conference as well (subject to room availability), you can have an affordable weekend in Seattle. Hotel reservation information is here. You won’t want to miss it!
